Despite being quite a small venue tucked off of Cornmarket, ‘The Mission’ is fast becoming one of the most exciting places to grab a bite to eat in or take away in Oxford. Famous for burritos, the service is as efficicient as the burritos are filling and tasty.
On my visit I went for the ‘Carnitas’ slow roasted pork burrito (see picture) With a variety of accompanying fillings on offer, I went for black peas, rice, guacamole, sour cream and tomatoe and onions finished off with the Chipotle salsa (which is spicy but very flavoursome).
I chose to sit in at the window seats and watch the world go by, but you can takeaway if you wish and even order on-line.
All in all, The Mission is a great fast food venue in Oxford that is open late and never disappoints with great food and filling portions.
